Tadworth AC love running but we also organise and enjoy a range of social events throughout the year.

Below is a summary of some of the events that TAC have arranged for members to enjoy :

January: Post Tadworth 10 drinks. This is an opportunity for the club to celebrate the success of the 10-mile race we host each year in January. Each year the club marshals’ the course and organises the race which enables us to donate a significant amount to local charities. The two nominated charities, this year are The Woodland Trust and The Sunnybank Trust.

March: Quiz Night. An annual event that is keenly contested between members. We usually hold this in a local venue and prizes are awarded to the winning teams.

May: Dick Clark Murder Mile, This is an event to commemorate the life of one of our founding members. It involves a 1-mile race to the top of Boxhill followed by a breakfast paid for by TAC to all participants afterwards.

June: Summer Party. This is an opportunity for members and their families to enjoy an afternoon of fun, food and games at a local venue.

July: Mid Summer Madness. This is held after the Elmore 7 road race and involves members visiting a variety of local pubs in and around Tadworth followed by a meal at one of the local restaurants.

October: Autumn Social and AGM. Members are invited to the Club’s Annual AGM and to vote on the current committee as well as TAC’s plans for future development. This is usually held in The Chequers in Walton on the Hill.

December: Christmas Party and Awards Evening. A chance for members to get together during the festive period. The evening features the TAC Awards for a range of running (& non-running) accolades!

As well as these events, members have also organised drinks after the Summer Handicap Series and other club running events. If you have any queries or questions please don’t hesitate to contact our Social Secretary

We look forward to welcoming you.
